Nothing Phone (3) is ‘100%’ coming to the United States, Carl Pei says

It’s been nearly two years since a Nothing Phone was released in the United States outside of confusing “beta” programs, but that’s set to change with the Nothing Phone (3), Carl Pei says.

The Nothing Phone (2) was the first smartphone from the young brand to be widely sold in the US market when it launched in 2023. But over the past two years, despite tremendous growth as of late, Nothing hasn’t launched any of its other smartphones in the US officially. Rather, the Phone (2a) and Phone (3a) series, as well phones from the CMF sub-brand, have only been available to US buyers via a “beta program” that restricts sales solely to Nothing’s website, and means devices skimp out on US cellular band support. It’s not a great way to experience the company’s rather solid devices.

According to Nothing’s founder, Carl Pei, that’s (probably) going to change with the upcoming launch of the Nothing Phone (3).

In a post on Twitter/X, responding to a fan, Pei says that the Nothing Phone (3) is “100%” coming to the United States. That doesn’t come as a huge shock, as Nothing Phone (2) was sold widely in the US, but it’s nice to hear that after four (technically five) smartphone launches that left the States on the back burner, things might change. Of course, that’s if Pei’s tweet is taken at face value. Technically speaking, it doesn’t explicitly say the device will be sold outside of a beta program, but that’s the most likely explanation when looking at the context.

Nothing Phone (3) is set to launch sometime in Q3 2025, meaning it could debut as soon as July.
